Why a new home page?
Previously, the home page in KNOW&SHARE was a classic wiki page: flexible, but without dedicated functions that made it feel like a real starting point. Many users could not immediately see what had changed, which content mattered or where to begin. The new home page brings central functions together and makes current information, important links and system changes visible at a glance.
Quick access: important content within reach
The quick access area shows clearly designed tiles that link to internal KNOW&SHARE pages or external websites. Each tile has an icon, a title and a defined target. Tiles can be rearranged via drag and drop, so teams can adapt the start page quickly as requirements change.
News: publish updates centrally
The news area displays posts about important topics and current developments. Text, images, links and videos can be embedded. Posts can be published immediately or scheduled for later and appear prominently with preview image, author and publication date.
Recent changes: what happened lately
This overview is generated automatically and lists pages that were recently created or edited. Each change includes a date and responsible person. Teams keep track of new guides, updated processes and editorial changes.
